WRUP: It's all about Maraad

Another week leads into another weekend, and this weekend's buzz around the virtual office is all about Vindicator Maraad, who wrapped up Blizzard's Lords of War series by telling his own story. A draenei jumping into the thus far all-orcs tale of the Warlords of Draenor? How odd!

Long-time followers of WoW Insider can probably already guess at our response to Maraad's appearence, but read on to find out what we're up to this weekend -- and let us know what you're playing in the comments!

Adam Holisky (@AdamHolisky) My opera is closing out this weekend, so it's goodbye to La fanciulla del West and hello to an overload of WoW and Blizz Heroes. Seriously. I'm going to play those games at least 20 hours over the weekend, and it's going to be glorious. As far as Lords of War: Maarad? Draenei. That is all.

Anne Stickney (@Shadesogrey) I'm pretty much doing the usual writing over the weekend - one of these weekends I'll do something else, I just don't know when that weekend will actually be. Bonus question -- I loved this installment. I mentioned on the podcast this week that I was kind of hoping the last installment would be Maraad, and they totally delivered! I do find myself wishing there were more than just the five pieces though. I really love the animated-ish shorts.

Elizabeth Harper (@faience) Spending the weekend getting over a cold and, if I have time, catching up on everything I've fallen behind on while I've been under the weather. This makes for a lousy time to game. Maraad's story was a refreshing break from the orcs orcs orcs orcs orcs orcs orcs of the expansion so far.

Matthew Rossi (@MatthewWRossi) I'm playing the "I feel like crap" game. It's not as fun as it sounds. Today's Lords of War was the only one that counted.

Sarah Pine (@ilaniel) I've just started my new master's program, and I'm slammed, so this weekend I'll be playing the "meet with my group members for our presentation next week" game. However, tonight is the "watch the AFL grand final" game. Go the Swans! If I manage to get on top of my reading and work, I'd love to hop into WoW for a while, but I'm not holding my breath. I haven't had a chance to watch the last part of Lords of War yet, so...basically I'm totally behind on everything!

The weekend is the perfect time to kick back, relax and enjoy some game time. Are you an achievement junkie? Can't get enough raiding? Rolling a new alt? Considering taking the leap into roleplaying? Whatever your favorite way to play

World of Warcraft, let us know in the comments what you're playing this weekend!
