Developer I Fight Bears is seeking community approval via Greenlight to bring the game to Steam. It launched on Ouya, iOS and Android in October following a successful Kickstarter campaign that raised £11,808 ($19,919) in December 2012. The UK-based developer was founded by Nicoll Hunt, a former Realtime Worlds (Crackdown) developer that also worked on Hard Lines for iOS.
That's correct. FIST OF AWESOME, the awe-inspiring time-travelling-lumberjack-em-up, the only game in history scientifically proven to accelerate beard growth, can be played on personal computers all around the world right now. Holy moly, this is big. HUGE. Unfathomably gigantic! What a day!
- A lumberjack who travels through time punching bears in the face to save humanity
- Develop Award Nominated soundtrack by Brendan Ratliff aka Echolevel
- Okay-ish pixel graphics
- An impawsible number of bear-themed puns
- USB & Bluetooth controller support
- Like Streets of Rage, but with more bears
FIST OF AWESOME for PC & Mac is available *exclusively* on Humble Store (other stores will follow in coming weeks), for the princely sum of £4.99 / $7.99 / €5.99 with a limited 50% discount for the first week!

Also, and it pains me to mention this, even the greatest time-travelling-lumberjack-em-up of all time must still do the Steam Greenlight dance. The campaign launches today and the Internet must now determine if FIST OF AWESOME is worthy of inclusion on Steam.
