As is the case with most hotly anticipated smartphones, the closer the launch event gets, the quicker the spoilermill churns. At this point, it's safe to say that Samsung's February 21st event will be headlined by the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, and the former device has been papped yet again in some of the best in-the-wild pictures to date. Android Authority published the snaps today, alongside an Instagram-length clip of the handset giving us a twirl. Apart from offering another glimpse at the S7's glass-clad body, there's little to extract from the leak, though one image does appear to confirm the existence of the coveted microSD slot.

Android Authority's source also volunteered a few key details, saying the device is IP67 or IP68 certified -- which Samsung has effectively confirmed already -- runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and packs a 12-megapixel main camera and 2,800mAh battery. Oh, and that there's no USB Type-C upgrade for charging and data transfer, which was previously reported by the Wall Street Journal.

In terms of other leaks, we've seen renders of both the S7 and S7 Edge; heard that the former will sport a 5.1-inch display and the latter a 5.5-inch panel (both of which will be pressure-sensitive, according to the WSJ); and have been told that March 11th is when the devices will go on sale. What, if any of this is true? Only a few more sleeps until we find out.
