Gather your supplies. If you did <a href="http://www.wowinsider.com/2008/05/22/world-of-warcrafts-runed-copper-rod/">last week's craft</a>, you can use the same metallic paint.
Spray paint the chest with the wood stain. You will want to be in an open area, preferably outdoors, and make sure you put the chest on some cardboard to protect the floor. You can remove the metal parts with a screw driver, or wipe the spray paint off before it dries.
Spray light and even. You will need two coats.
Don't forget to spray the inside of the chest.
Brush the metallic paint on the raised parts of the chest.
Once you have completed two coats of metallic paint, your chest should look like this.
Place some shredded paper inside the chest.
Add the gifts for dad. Some gift ideas include <a href="http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/productDetail.do?oid=137972&linkid=j13459594k12279" target="_blank">pre-paid WoW game cards</a>, <a href="http://entertainment.upperdeck.com/wow/en/" target="_blank">TCG booster packs</a> from Upper Deck, snacks, and don't forget the <a href="http://thebronzekettle.com/images/coupon.jpg" target="_blank">coupon</a>!
