As a laptop there’s some good here - hence the score being fair, it’d be lower if there wasn’t some success in its at-home laptop highs - but as a tablet-laptop device the Split x2 makes even the Surface Pro 2 look like a beanpole.

In brief, it's a 13-inch slate with a 1,366 x 768 display and your choice of Core i3 or i5 processor. As you'd expect, the keyboard dock packs a second battery, though it also makes room for an optional 500GB hard drive to complement the SSD inside the actual tablet.

Ridiculous price for the specs. Design flaws make it difficult to use. Took a chance on this as it was open box at a great discount. Loved it out of the box, but as I used it over the next day or so, the design flaws became too much too bear. Hinge design totally cuts into your legs if sitting...
