Detailed review
I replaced the Samsung Galaxy S4, which I loved, with the LG G2 because I simply needed more battery life. The G2 gets me through the day and then some. I am surprised by how much I like this smartphone, particularly double-tap to open and the buttons on the back instead of around the edges. The display is sharp and bright, and the user interface is easy to use. Great phone!

how can anyone like this phone, especially after using a galaxy?

Easy. Battery life on S4 is really bad. Battery life on G2 is really good. Good better than bad every time. I was surprised that I liked it, too. I test all devices in real-word use for at least two weeks before making a judgment. How long did you use yours? Just got the S5, but haven't started using it, yet. I did not like the LG Flex, which shared some of the attributes of the G2 - battery wasn't enough to overcome the weirdness.

I've had my G2 for about 2 months and still despise it. I posted a review today about how much I hate it. True about the battery though. But I wonder... if I call AT&T and tell them I can't stand it anymore, will I just wind up having to spend $500 on a good phone? Actually I started alternating use between the G2 and a little gophone that I got for like $35, I just switch the SIM when I get tired of the G2. Yes it's that bad that I'd rather use a featureless non-smart phone ;)
