which phone should I go to?
I was using an LG G3 and for really poor reasons I switched back to an iphone 6. Well this iphone 6 is just too small when it comes to screen size and I feel like it is killing my eyes. I am between the Note 4 or just getting an S6. I would sacrifice upgradable storage and a removable battery but I didn't use a spare battery with my G3 or an upgraded SD card.
I am between the S6 and the Note 4 and really can't decide which will be better.
I use my phone primarily for IG, FB and reading reddit and...

Metal Vs Plastic Body Discussion - If you are a design loving person
Smartphones are close to my heart and I review them frequently. Recently, I reviewed LG G3 and its beautiful design on my website. A great phone and a workhorse.
This topic is opened just to capture your thoughts on how do you feel about the plastic feel of the LG G3. This is one area where I think LG could have done better and raised the bar with a metal feel body design. I am saying this because I have used the HTC's M8 before using the G3 and still miss its metal uni-body design.
Do you think...

DLNA shortcuts?
Has anyone else figured out how to add a DLNA shortcut on their android phone? I'm using an LG G3 which supports DLNA but I have to go through settings and two other menus to get to the application and would prefer to create a shortcut there.

How often do you upgrade your phone?
We're getting a lot of exciting phone announcements over the last week.
IFA gave us the following:
  • Galaxy Note Edge
  • Galaxy Note 4
  • Samsung Galaxy Alpha
  • LG G3 Stylus
  • Sony Xperia Z3
  • Sony Xperia Z3 Compact
That same week Motorola also showcased the following:
  • Moto X
  • Moto G
And tomorrow is Apple's big day where we'll likely be seeing a new iPhone (or two).
The thing is, even with all this exciting new stuff I don't have any urge to upgrade. I bought my iPhone 5S on release day and a... Read more →

Have you replaced your remotes with a mobile device?
Ever since I picked up a Harmony One I have been singing its praises. To me it's the perfect device for the living room with its sleek profile and convenient to reach buttons. This is why it pains me every time I go to use it and notice buttons not responding as well as they once did: it's on its last legs. Naturally, these aren't made anymore and the options from Logitech aren't great. The Hub is a... Read more →

Wait for updates!!
I have this phone-- delivered and activated Aug 4th. The LG G3 has some great features but. In my opinion, needs improvements. Let's begin with the camera-- serious flaws. Now admittedly, I'm a professional photographer so my needs may not match that of most users however, this camera failed at the most basic level. Lg gives the consumer no control over white balance meaning whatever light conditions your camera thinks your shooting under it will determine the setting. My phone previewed scenes... Read more →

Switching Carriers - How to get the best deal?
I've been a T-Mo user for a number of years, and for the most part have been very happy. Unfortunately, I recently moved somewhere a little more remote, and the coverage is too frustrating. I need to switch to one of the big 2, either ATT or Verizon. I do get a service discount from my employer for AT&T, so I'm definitely leaning that way.
Now to choose 2 phones, and make sure I get the best intro deal. Is it best to shop online, or will I be better off calling and talking to sales? Or can I... Read more →

What do you want to know about the LG G3?
Yesterday, James Trew posted his review of LG's new flagship phone, the G3, and walked away fairly impressed!
The smooth, curved lines of the G3 make it feel like a much smaller phone. Those rear buttons mostly just need some muscle memory to get used to. And that metallic skin: It might not be metal, but it sure looks better than the G2 (or any Galaxy phone). That just leaves the positives. The... Read more →
