Criteria Comments Rating
  • Reception and call quality No comments
  • Display Very neutral with great colors and a good white point, high density, high viewing angles, but not very bright outside. good
  • Battery life With lots of apps but not using them heavily the battery of the Optimus G had to be recharged every day. so-so
  • Camera Good at day but pictures got noisy very soon. so-so
  • Ease of use It's the Android system. That is not as easy to use as iOS. No camera button, only touch-sensitive menu buttons. good
  • Design and form factor It feels very solid in your hand. I liked the glass on the back because it gave grip to my fingers. Premium materials. great!
  • Portability (size / weight) Using it with one hand could get a bit complicated. good
  • Media support No comments
  • Durability There is a lot of glass on the front and back of the Optimus G. It feels sturdy in your hand but easily breaks when the phone accidentally fells down. so-so
  • Ecosystem (apps, accessories, etc.) The Android Market has a great choice of apps but most of them are not that polished as in the App Store for iOS. But you get a great In-Ear-Headset. good
