Netgear's Nighthawk 802.11ac router boasts a strong feature set, delivers exceptional range, and is reasonably priced. It's the best Wi-Fi router on the market, at least for now.Read the full review →
When you want the best and fastest WiFi speeds from a router it usually means shelling out serious dough, but in the case of Netgear's Nighthawk R7000 the high price might be more than worth it.
While some routers are very user friendly, the R7000 confounded some critics, with Hardware.info finding it "disorganized." But once the R7000 is set up it's smoother sailing, with performance that TweakTown calls "stunning" and PC World says is "very fast." Even better, the R7000 doesn't skimp on range, which PC Mag finds "excellent."
The speed and reliability of AC come at a steep price -- even more if you need to buy adapters -- but the Netgear R7000's performance justifies its big price tag.

It especially performs exceptionally well on 802.11ac and when under heavy loads, The other tests show it performs well in other areas too.Read the full review →
I've owned many of routers and never seen a $190 unit break an antenna off after a minor fall off a counter. Opening the case the large mount is only soldered on the board by 4 small gold pins even though the connector is about a quarter inch square. They could have mounted it better and more...Read the full review →
*Disclaimer* The initial firmware update kind of bricked the router until I was able to ftp the firmware again. It is possible that I had a defective unit and I understand that other users love this router. I found it unreliable and clunky. The advanced settings were lacking in my opinion.Read the full review →
Netgear has good product's. The tech support is underpar and contacting them by phone you will learn that they are not from the USA. The Nighthawk is a big improvement with it's range over the other heavy weights. I only know Netgear product's and come to know them well but around me I know...Read the full review →
