Portability (size / weight)
The DS, Nintendo's current handheld console, has one of the biggest, if not the biggest, game libraries of any handheld console. There are over 1,500 games for the DS as of the date of this review. Graphics are good, but nowhere near the level of the PSP's graphics. Still, they're a major improvement over previous Nintendo consoles. Battery life can range from 5 to 19 hours, depending on brightness and usage. 5 hours is plenty of gaming time, while 19 is more than most casual gamers would need for a single day. Portability is excellent. Feels comfortable in hands, and can be stowed quickly away in a pocket. Durability-wise, the DS Lite could make improvements on. The hinge can crack and/or break, making the top screen unable to lock in a specific position. This is a common problem with many DS Lites. While this doesn't affect the actual gameplay, it can be a large nuisance.
Pros: Huge game library. Good graphics and battery life. Very portable.
Cons: Hinge can crack/break and be a large nuisance.
