Detailed review
Dispite proving more popular than a cold drink on a hot day, the Nintendo Wii has gotten a bad rap. Fans of the PS3 and XBOX360 have constantly stated that it's outdated graphics, last generation hardware and family friendly tone don't make it a serious contender as a genuine games console, but I think they all poitn towards doing what a games console should do.

It is so simple to pick up and play, you don't have to spend hours mastering it. Anyone, from your kid sister to your grandad can give it a go, and that is part of the beauty. Gamers and non-gamers alike can join together and have a laugh, without worrying about who is better.

People who bash it either don't have one, or don't understand what gaming is about. Gaming is about having fun, not 49 hour FPS marathons fueled by Red Bull and Cheetos. For those people who enjoy gaming, but also have a life outside of it, the Wii is for you.
