Detailed review
I have to say I was extremely lucky to get an invite to buy this phone! After my first full week of use, I almost forgot how little I paid for the phone. I am a tech enthusiast so I consistently buy new phones to my liking, I've had the Note 3, Nexus 5, Galaxy S5, Sony Xperia z2, HTC One m8...etc but this is undoubtedly the best phone I have ever owned! It's the closest thing to a "Perfect" smartphone that you'll ever get. I can go on talking about the specs, design, and software but the real icing on the cake is the price!! $350 for 64gb.......just take my money :) This phone is way more worth than its actual price and you cant go wrong. Other than the price, what makes this phone my most favorite is Cyanogenmod. Sure I can root and device and all but the ability to take advantage of tweak android right out of the box without having to download or install anything is something that has not been done yet and so far I am loving it! A question that many people have is "Why is the price so low?" and don't worry, the phone won't fall apart in 2 years but the reason may be due to the lack of marketing. Companies like Samsung and Apple spend a lot of their investment and money into marketing (Certainly has done it's job!) but OnePlus has spent probably little to no money on marketing. Since their a fairly new company they want to try to build up their name before they start thinking about marketing tactics and the fact that the phone is only available through online purchase adds to reasoning behind why its so damn cheap! Overall you wont be disappointed and I am going to keep my eye on this company in hopes that they will continue to do well!

Hello, I've been struggling to find the right phone for over a year now! Like you, I enjoy trying out new tech, but I only invest in the best product... even if I have to be inconvenienced. I've been searching for the past two years.

I spent 3 months phoneless, after I lost my Nokia Murial (yes, i wanted a limited functional phone strictly for calls); bought a Pantech for it's durability and non-phone applications, which I couldn't get serviced abroad for the 3 months i was away; and in hopes of saving some money I mistakenly thought a Nokia Lumia 521 would be a good investment (I'll never look at Nokia the same way again, they broke my trust). So, I didn't experiment with great phones, but I know now what to look for and it's definitely not an iPhone. Leaving me with either an HTC, Galaxy, or the 1+ One, weighing my options the One looks like a great deal, thanks to your review!

I'd love to try out the One and am actually in dire need of a functional device. Would appreciate it very much if you can help with an invite, as the others have requested. Maybe I'll have the phone I've been seeking for so long! ;)

Thank you!
Best,
Sultana.
