RX100 M3: New wrappers for 1080p video, will it work with iOS?
This sad puppy at 1920 x 1080 resolution feels the same way I do that I can't transfer 1080p video from my RX100 to my iPad.
The RX100 M1 and M2 both recorded 1080p video, however Sony decided to encode video in their AVCHD format. This meant that if I recorded video on the go at true 1080p, then I wouldn't be able to import or edit it on my iPad (iOS doesn't support AVCHD).

Share your early RX100 M3 impressions!
It's been pretty common knowledge at this point that Sony's RX100 line of cameras have been the best point and shoot cameras that you can buy. Their latest iteration is now available for mass consumption. Have you picked one up? Share your impressions below.

Why do dedicated cameras take such horrible panoramas?
Kalalau Lookout: 9 images from my Nikon D300 stitched together in Photoshop back in 2007.
Back before we had this newfangled technology built into our cameras and phones that automatically create panoramas, we previously had to stitch together such a photo inside apps like Photoshop. It used to be a tedious process but has gotten much easier.

Best Recording video mode
What is the best recording video setting? I am going on vacation and I want to get the best quality from the videos I take. Can someone tell me whats the difference between AVCHD and MP4 (pros & cons). Even if you dont own this camera and what to chime in feel free.
