The folks at Zapruder Pictures have created a live action, scene for scene recreation of the GTA V trailer (which takes place in Los Angeles). This is actually really awesome! And I love seeing stuff like this.
Check it out below!
I've been playing a lot of BF4 lately and had an interesting realization. I sit entirely way too close to the television when I play games. I think my original justification for it is that I wear glasses, so I need to sit closer to see. Except I wear glasses when I play, so it makes that point moot.
Anyway, I sit about 3 to 5 feet away from the 32" TV that I use for gaming. I'm sure that it's not good for my eyes, but hey. How close do you find yourself sitting in...
I am working on a Master's thesis in architecture and am interested in pathmaking and pathfinding as they are implemented in the virtual worlds of gaming. There appear to be two basic approaches to both: manual (i.e., designed) and procedural (i.e., algorithmic like roguelikes). My goal is to apply strategies garnered from an analysis of these topics to an architectural design (e.g., museum or game design company offices). Does anyone know of any good resources I could read or search out?
When launching the game it says it needs to update, which completes successfully. It then says it needs to install game data and DLC to run. The install process will get all the way to %100 and then permanently freeze the game. The console is still running fine and I can the frozen install at any time. There is plenty of space for content on my PS3. I have tried deleting the game data and starting from the beginning with no luck. My PS3 system is up to date.
My cousin was asking if I knew a place that rented out the instruments for Rock Band. Renting/borrowing the game itself is easy enough, but are there any places that will rent you the guitars and drums for an evening?
(I feel like this is something that video rental stores would/could have done, if so many of them hadn't been driven out of business by Netflix and Gamefly. Guess there is still a purpose to in-store rental...)
The HD videos look great and I can control it with my iPhone! Pretty sick idea if you want to make a video playlist for a party or something!
Anybody else have experience with this app? I can't believe this took so long to come to ps3, but I think it's really well done.
