Shadow of the Colossus film finds a director
The Shadow of the Colossus movie will be directed by Andres Muschietti, director of the 2013 horror film Mama, Sony Pictures Entertainment announced today. Shadow of the Colossus still has Scott Lochhead on board to pen the script, now with Muschietti supervising. Lochhead co-wrote the screenplay for the 2011 action thriller Hanna, starring Eric Bana and Cate Blanchett. A Shadow of the Colossus movie has been on Sony's to-do list since 2009, when it was to be helmed by Chronicle director Josh Trank, with Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li writer Justin Marks doing the screenplay.
