Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Alex Ziebart will be your host today. Today's Queue will be a short one. Yesterday's Queue had a whole lot of TOR discussion and not a whole lot of question asking. Not my fault! Jason asked: So now that the panda dances are now live, where are the dances from? I see part of the female panda dance is from some anime clip. What about the guys? Thanks! Male pandaren dance the shuffle from LMFAO's Party Rock Anthem. Female pandaren mix the infamous Caramelldansen and the dance from Haruhi Suzumiya's outro theme, Hare Hare Yukai. Edit: I may be wrong about Hare Hare Yukai. Forgive me, I only have so much knowledge of weird anime dances.

In case you haven't seen the ridiculously popular anime or read the Wikipedia page, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is about an impulsive high school girl who also happens to unwittingly possess the ability to control reality. Her friends in the "SOS Brigade" after-school club, who all have supernatural or extraterrestrial connections except for irritated Everyman Kyon, attempt to keep her from getting bored (and thus remaking the universe) while also hiding the true existence of aliens, psychics, and time travelers from Haruhi. We had to explain all that for the concept of the new DS Haruhi game from Sega to make any sense. It's a board game in which the SOS Brigade rushes to solve unexplainable incidents and destroy evidence of otherworldly activity before Haruhi shows up. At least, that's as much as we can figure out. Not that it matters -- sales of this game will occur based entirely on the strength of whatever preorder bonus Sega and Haruhi publisher Kodansha decide to throw in.

Having gotten the all-important preorder bonus figured out, Namco Bandai has now turned to working on the actual Haruhi Suzumiya Wii game. Until now, the thing hasn't even had a title -- it's now called Suzumiya Haruhi no Gekidou (The Upheaval of Haruhi Suzumiya). It's also got a release date: November 27. Gamespot Japan has more screens (of the three girls dancing, which is pretty much the whole game). As for that figurine: it appears that the DX pack will come with a Revoltech Haruhi figurine, and extra parts (comprising new expressions, hairstyles, and accessories) will come with various magazines over the next few months. Thanks to Famitsu, we now know a little more about how the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya dancing game works. It'll feature the Hare Hare Yukai dance, of course, but it will also feature new dances! Dancing through the main game will unlock options for the "free mode," including costumes, locations, and songs. In free mode, you can play the song of your choice. This is also where the three-player multiplayer is available. This mode is also being touted as enabling exercise, though we don't know if that means some kind of exercise/health-related (calorie count, etc.) will be included. It is also currently unknown whether the two remaining SOS Brigade members will be playable, but they're male and therefore a low priority. The SOS Brigade icon in the corner of the screen reads "Action!" to alert players to the start of a stage. The life bar starts at full and decrements along with missed movements. Moves are to be performed while move icons are inside a generous red bar, which makes the game look fairly easy.

The mega-popular anime series The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is now being made into a Wii game, after success on the PS2 and PSP (mostly as vectors for delivery of exclusive Haruhi figurines). The Wii game, we predict, will be the biggest success of all, because it also includes a Haruhi figurine, and it's based on the dance sequence from the anime's ending, which has become an Internet phenomenon Up to three players control Haruhi, Yuki Nagato and Mikuru Asahina in a motion-based dance game, which seems to involve mimicking poses with Wiimote positioning. In addition, it also contains the standard anime-game adventure component, featuring a new storyline.

It's another anime based text and mini-game adventure title! Luckily, this one's based off of the wildly popular Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya which, among other things, is renown for its clever and fresh writing. For a text-riddled PSP game, that would be a plus if the quality seen in the show oozed into the game. The title isn't just 2-D profiles and text, though. There are some minigames to be had (doubtless to keep Haruhi satisfied so she doesn't reform the world into something more exciting), as well as some weird 3D models of the main characters. We don't know their purpose yet, but we did stumble across an interactive 3D Haruhi a while back. Check it out; she adorably follows your mouse to some extent. We'll keep you posted as details emerge on this game, as it became a decent success, there's some chance it may get localized. Probably not, though.[Thanks, Creamsugar!]

According to Watch Impress, Haruhi Suzumiya will be yelling her way onto the PSP before the end of the year. Tentatively titled Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya), the game promises to be an adventure game, but not much else. That is to say, there's no real information on how the game will play until the official site opens on the 10th of July. For those unaware, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is a very popular anime series which started a year ago and is based on a number of novels. The show revolves around a schoolboy named Kyon who gets persuaded by Haruhi to set up a school society called "The SOS Brigade" with three other members. Through the society, Haruhi is desperate to discover real espers, aliens and time travellers. She fails to find any, even when they join the society themselves. Why do they join? To keep an eye on Haruhi, of course. When she gets bored strange things happen. Things that could lead to the end of the world. Season 2 of the series should be starting in autumn.Sound bizarre enough for you? It's a really hilarious show and one we cannot wait to see as a game on the PSP. Let's just hope that it gets released outside of Japan. Oh who are we kidding, we'll pick it up even if we can't read any of it.
