Need something to watch tonight or over the weekend? Then don't forget the video service option on the PS Store. You see, the store is updated as it comes in and not every Thursday like the games side. So, to make things easier for all of you to keep up on what's new, PlayStation.Blog has listed all the new television shows and featured films added to the shop. You can view that list after the break.

So, with Blu-ray finally the winner of the HD race, you'd think there'd be a huge celebration with tons of great releases this week, right? Well, not so much, unless you're a big fan of watching music on TV, that is. Michael Clayton In the Valley of Elah Run Lola Run Santana: Hymns for Peace, Live at Montreux 2004 Deep Purple: Live at Montreux 2006 Yes: Live at Montreux 2003 However, Blu-ray owners may be interested in Michael Clayton or Run Lola Run. Both seem like they could be interesting pick ups. On the brighter side, if these movies don't interest you this week, just rest in assurance that there will be some really great releases the following week and in to March.

So it looks like us gamers in the United States will be stuck playing our Patapon demo for another week while those in Europe get to enjoy the full greatness of the game.North America Games Need for Speed: Pro Street Europe Games ATV Offroad Fury 4 Pro Need for Speed: Pro Street Patapon Asia Games Musou Orochi Space Invaders Extreme In other regions, if you're a fan of either Dynasty Warriors or Samurai Warriors, you may want to check out Musou Orochi. It combines both games and characters into a singular action epic.[Editor's Note: We incorrectly listed flOw as releasing this week. Although the official PlayStation website lists it as releasing this week, it is supposed to release March 6th. We'll try to get a clarification from SCEA soon.]

We're gonna go ahead and state the obvious - this is a very good week to be a PSP owner in every major region throughout the world. North America Games Wipeout Pulse Europe Games Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles Coded Arms: Contagion Asia Games Downstream Panic! Medal of Honor: Heroes (EA Best Hits) Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 The heavy hitters throughout are, of course, Wipeout Pulse, Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles and Downstream Panic!, but Europe and Asia get a few more games to help round out the week. Despite assurances from the Sony's official PSP site that Dungeon Explorer: Warrior of the Ancient Arts will also be releasing in North America this week, both Gamestop and Amazon list the title to release on Feb. 26. Oh well, it's not like there's not enough for us to play this week, right?

  • Universal Pictures Australasia releasing 20 HD DVD titles in 2008

In a move not totally shocking considering Ken Graffeo's sentiments shared just days ago, Universal Pictures Australasia has come forward and announced that it will continue backing HD DVD by promising some 20 titles on the format in 2008. According to the release, consumers in Australia and New Zealand can look forward to picking up Atonement, The Kingdom, Elizabeth: The Golden Age, American Gangster and Charlie Wilson's War on HD DVD later this year. Unfortunately, none of the other flicks making up the previously mentioned "20" were detailed, so it looks as if we'll be waiting in tense anticipation for release dates and titles for the majority of the bunch.[Via iTWire, thanks Anthony B.]

Despite the fact that there's not much PSP action in North America this week, the two other major regions are getting some games that should please just about all PSP owners.North America Games Downstream Panic! Europe Games Final Fantasy Final Fantasy II Asia Games Mobile Suit Gundam Gundam: Giren's Ambition - Axis no Kyoui Bomberman Land Portable (Hudson the Best) Coded Soul: Uke Keigareshi Idea NBA Live 07 (EA Best Hits) It seems weird that the Final Fantasy remakes are just now getting their European releases, since they were released Stateside in June and July last year. In Asia, gamers are getting yet another Gundam title, and they usually sell like hotcakes so it will be interesting to see how well it does.[Edit: Oops, we were wrong, or should we say Sony's official PSP site failed to list Downstream Panic! as shipping this week.]

If you're looking to get your wife or girlfriend hooked on Blu-ray, this might be the week to do it as several chick flicks and other girlie shows are being released. The Assassination of Jesse James Across the Universe The Brave One Celine Dion: A New Day... Live in Las Vegas Crimson Tide Wall Street The Jane Austen Book Club Me, Myself & Irene Breaker Morant Suburban Girl Deadliest Catch: Season 3 It's a verifiable fact that 91 percent of all women love Celine Dion. We don't know exactly why, but it's true, and if that's not enough, there's Suburban Girl and The Jane Austen Book Club. However, if they fall in that minuscule nine percent, there's Crimson Tide, Breaker Morant and The Assassination of Jesse James. Either way, there's something for everyone this week.

This has to be some sort of cruel joke. Two horror movies released this week, but we don't know which one is more scary. On one hand you have a movie about people getting horribly mutilated in various ways and one where The Rock is a star football player with a great single life until one day, his bastard daughter shows up on his front doorstep. Either way, we're pretty sure both movies will be tough to watch for far different reasons. Saw IV: Unrated Director's Cut The Game Plan Perhaps we're being a bit too tough on our good friend Dwayne Johnson. Nevertheless, perhaps he should stick with movies where he can bust in a room, say a couple bad-ass one liners and then proceed to beat the crap outta people with a variety of objects.

After a few weeks without nary a release in any region, we're back to seeing the normal flow of games. While Rainbow Islands Evolution may not be the big-name release that some of you have hoped for, we're sure a few people out there have been anticipating its release.North America Games Rainbow Islands Evolution Europe Games No new releases Asia Games Lumines II (The Best Collection) Winning Eleven Ubiquitous Evolution 2008 Yggdra Union: We'll Never Fight Alone If importing is in your nature, you might want to check out Yggdra Union, which is a remake of the GBA version released in 2006. It's a tactical RPG, so if you've already beaten Jeanne d'Arc and Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness, this could be right up your alley.

Whew, what a week! We've seen more Blu-ray announcements and rumors last week than we can remember. Even though HD-DVD is still technically alive, you can rest assured that it's against the ropes and is gasping for air. With that outta the way, let's see what treats are in store for us this week! Good Luck Chuck Mr. Woodcock Breaker Morant Suburban Girl Went to Coney Island on a Mission from God...Be Back by Five Yeah, we don't really see a whole lot, either. We'll pass on Dane Cook's failed attempts at comedy, and we certainly don't want to witness Billy Bob desecrating his good name. If nothing interests you this week, don't be too bummed out though, because there will be some good titles trickling out this month.

It seems as if it's another slow week in the PSP world as there's only one game releasing this week across all major regions.North America Games FlatOut: Head On Europe Games No new releases Asia Games No new releases If you like big crashes in your racers, then FlatOut: Head On will probably be of interest to you. It features several modes of play including a destruction derby, ragdoll stunt mode and WiFi multiplayer.

The week keeps getting better and better for Blu-ray supporters. First Warner Bros. chose to go exclusive to Blu-ray and now we have a very nice line-up of movies to choose from. 3:10 to Yuma Sunshine The Rock Con Air Dragon Wars Man on Fire Night of the Werewolf / Vengeance of the Zombies Killing Machine / Shogun's Ninja Sister Street Fighter / Sister Street Fighter II If you somehow missed 3:10 to Yuma when it went through theaters, we highly suggest you check it out. It's hard not to include it along some of the best Westerns of all time. However, things aren't all rainbows and gumdrops. Also released this week is Dragon Wars, one of the most horrible movies to ever grace the Silver Screen. We won't ruin it for you, but the ending of the movie is so bad that you might want to at least rent it for a good laugh.

Last week was pretty bad since there wasn't any PSP release across all major regions. However, we told you that there'd definitely be something coming out this week, and here we are.North America Games Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law Europe Games Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters Platinum Asia Games Wipeout Pulse Zero Shiki Kanjou Sentouki Ni Now see there? Hopefully, everyone will be pleased with what will be new to the PSP section this week. Of course, North American gamers are finally going to experience all the fun those DS guys had with Phoenix Wright when Harvey Birdman drops.

We're not sure how often this has happened, but it seems that no games will be releasing on the PSP across all three major regions.NA Games No new releases EU Games No new releases Asia Games No new releases Chances are, it's probably not that big a deal for most of you since you're all very busy with all the great games you received for Christmas. But if you're a bit disappointed, rest assured that next week the PSP is definitely getting new games.

Although last week's Blu-ray releases were pretty much all about Pan's Labyrinth, there are actually several titles Blu-ray owners could be interested in this week. Resident Evil Resident Evil: Extinction Resident Evil: The High Definition Trilogy Shoot 'Em Up War Of course, most gamers will probably be most interested in the Resident Evil trilogy, we hear Shoot 'Em Up is a fun action flick, and we can never say no to Monica Bellucci.

Following up on last week's strong lineup of Blu-ray releases, we're treated to an even meatier menu to feast over. This week is, perhaps, one of the greatest moments for Potter fans as all five movies come to Blu-ray.Harry Potter Limited Edition Gift Set: Years 1-5 Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets High School Musical 2: Extended Edition Lost: The Complete Third Season Led Zeppelin: The Song Remains the Same The Legend of Zorro Rent SOS! Tokyo Metro Explorers: The NextHowever, if Potter isn't your thing, there's always Led Freaking Zeppelin. And if you don't like Zeppelin, may we suggest High School Musical 2?

After last week's less-than-stellar offering, we're back to more of the heavy hitters. This week features a couple movies just seeing their first releases and a classic that's sure to look wonderful on Blu-ray. Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Superbad: Unrated Extended Special Edition Elton 60: Live at Madison Square Garden Queen Rock Montreal & Live Aid Mr. & Mrs. Smith Cast Away 20 Million Miles to Earth While we'll kindly pass on seeing Elton John in hi-definition, we're huge fans of anything Judd Apatow touches, so Superbad is a must buy. And despite watching Cast Away at least a dozen times, we'll happily pick it up to see one of Tom Hanks' best performances ever.

This definitely isn't Blu-ray's most high-profile week it's ever had. With the lack of any blockbuster releases, we're not left with a whole lot. Paprika The Omega Man I Know Who Killed Me Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade Anime fans will recognize both Paprika and Jin-Roh. Satoshi Kon's Paprika may not be his best work, but it's still quite an adventure. Jin-Roh is a rather timeless film that's vital to any true anime fan's collection. The Omega Man is a classic that is sure to excite a few of us sci-fi nerds, but if you don't see anything worthy of blowing your hard-earned cash on this week, just take solace in the fact that next week is much, much better.

Another week goes by and there's nothing for us poor North American gamers. Like last week, the Europeans get several great games, though.NA Games No new releases EU Games Alien vs. Predator: Requiem Football Manager Handheld 2008 Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow Asia Games Disgaea: Hour of Darkness Portable PQ2: Practical Intelligence Quotient SOCOM US Navy Seals Tactical Strike The Cube It seems like we'll be spending another week playing our backlog of games like Silent Hill Origins. Speaking of which, has there ever been a game with more locked and barricaded doors?

The next few weeks are going to be pretty boring for U.S. PSP owners as it's looking like we'll have to wait until early December before we get any meaningful releases. However, the outlook isn't quite as bleak for our friends across the pond as they're getting a few games this week. US Games No new releases EU Games Jackass Crash of the Titans Warhammer 40,000: Squad Command Asia Games Ape Escape Racing (PSP the Best) While it's certainly a bummer not to have any new games, we can always fall back on recent releases like Silent Hill Origins and Warhammer 40K: Squad Command to get us through these dark times.
