  • Ubisoft games 30% off on Wii U eShop

    U can save on ZombiU, along with the rest of Ubisoft's Wii U lineup this week. From today through February 26, downloads of full games from the publisher are 30% off.That puts ZombiU and Assassin's Creed 3 at $41.99 each, and Just Dance 4, Rabbids Land, Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2013, and ESPN Sports Connection at $34.99 each. It's a good time to load up on Ubigames, as long as you remember to factor in the cost of an extra hard drive.This isn't the only sale happening on eShop: pick up F-Zero for 30 cents tomorrow.

    Been playing Ubisoft Wii U games without accruing the publisher's invented Uplay currency like some kind of chump? Now's the time to feel better about yourself, because the Uplay app is now available for download through the Nintendo eShop.If you've signed into Uplay with your info through any Ubisoft game on Wii U, the app will automatically detect your information. Through the Uplay app you can view your achievements, spend your Uplay bux on content for various Ubisoft games and perhaps ponder why you put so much stock in imaginary economies.

  • Ubisoft bringing AC3, Liberation, Far Cry 3, Zombi U and more to Gamescom

    There are plenty of reasons to visit Germany, but for gamers looking to sample some stuff still in development, Ubisoft is making a strong claim for Primary Reason. The publisher is throwing everything at Gamescom this year, an event that saw 275,000 attendees in 2011.Assassin's Creed 3 and its PS Vita spinoff, Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation, will both be on hand at Ubisoft's booth. They'll be joined by Far Cry 3, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Online and Shootmania. Ubisoft is also going to truck out all of its Wii U games: Zombi U, Rayman Legends, Rabbids Land, Sports Connection and Your Shape Fitness Evolved 2013. And if you decide to skip that last game, don't sweat it – you'll get all the exercise you need running around the Koelnmesse.

    We don't know about you guys, but we wouldn't step foot in a Rabbids amusement park. A Rabbids spaceship, however, sounds like a ton of fun – but maybe not a spaceship controlled with a WiiPad.
