While the notch has become an unfortunate trend in the smartphone market, Vivo and Oppo have shown the world how a proper all-screen design should be done -- by stuffing the front cameras into a motorized pop-up module. About two months later, Honor caught up by showing off a vague Magic 2 teaser, in which you could make out what appeared to be a pop-up camera as well. But thanks to the help of six lucky Chinese celebrities, today we finally see the phone in action ahead of its October 31st launch, and as it turns out, we're actually looking at a different all-screen implementation here.

Netflix has followed its brief peek at House of Cards' final season with a larger teaser, and we now know how Claire Underwood will handle the presidency with Frank out of the picture: by fighting for it every step of the way. This latest preview shows Claire remaking the White House under her rules, telling people that Frank's promises don't count under her tenure and that they shouldn't believe anything her late husband said. Not that it's likely to deter others. More than a few former associates come out of the woodwork to challenge Claire, including former Chief of Staff Doug Stamper.

Google's Pixel 3 phones have been some of the leakiest devices in recent memory, but there's at least one big question left.... what color options will you have? However, even that might not be much of a mystery. Google Japan has posted a "coming soon" teaser page that cycles through three colors when you click the company's "G" logo: black, white and (most importantly) mint green. Yes, you might get a phone with a color as fresh as chewing gum or mouthwash. The white graphic has mint accents, too, suggesting that (as leaks have indicated) even the white version will have a little splash of color.

Aston Martin is nearly ready to unveil its first purely electric road car after years of work. The company has provided an early look at the Rapide E, an EV edition of its high-performance luxury sedan. It's not providing complete visuals (just the powertrain and a peek at one of the wheel areas), but it is promising a machine that's both speedy and practical. Its dual motors will deliver the equivalent of 602HP and 701ft/lb of torque, translating to a 155MPH top speed, a sub-4.0-second 0-60MPH time and a 50-70MPH time of 1.5 seconds -- quick given that the Rapide isn't exactly a diminutive car. Its 65kWh battery should deliver a range over 200 miles (on the WLTP testing standard), and its support for 100kW "or higher" charging should top you up in less than an hour.

Xiaomi’s high-end Mix 3 joins the sliding camera craze

"Sorry, they look alike. We're launching in October." That's the cheeky Weibo message posted alongside a never-before-seen Xiaomi smartphone, courtesy of president Lin Bin right after Huawei's Honor Magic 2 teaser at IFA. And boy do they look alike. Similar to the Oppo Find X, both devices here feature a slide-out camera at the top to achieve an all-screen design, except for one major difference: the Xiaomi uses the full body for sliding. Given Xiaomi's track record with its near-bezel-less designs, it's safe to assume that Lin is prematurely showing off the upcoming Mix 3, which is a rather unusual move for Xiaomi, but one that would no doubt annoy the folks over at Huawei.

Now that Dontnod has set up some of the framework for Life is Strange 2 with The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, it's ready to tease a bit of the game itself... and clearly, something's amiss. The brief clip shows a police officer responding to a "10-10" (fight in progress), only for someone or something to blast him backward with a mysterious power. It's not completely clear that this is connected to what we saw in Captain Spirit, but it's safe to say there isn't much of a link to the first game -- Dontnod has stressed that there's a new location and new characters. Still, that won't stop the endless speculation ahead of the full reveal at Gamescom on August 20th.

A teaser for the upcoming third season of Amazon's The Man in the High Castle aired today at Comic-Con and it shows that the resistance is more determined than ever to take down the Nazis. But the Nazis, who at the end of last season rolled back a plan that would've led to nuclear war, are working on a new tool that will give them access to the multiverse we've been given glimpses of throughout the first two seasons. In the teaser, we see a scientist say they're building a "gateway to the multiverse" while Obergruppenführer Smith (Rufus Sewell) comes to the realization that "different versions of us exist in other worlds" -- a discovery based in part on the reappearance of Juliana's half-sister Trudy (Conor Leslie) who was believed to be dead.

Just hours after the leaked image of a keychain accessory revealed the game, Ubisoft has posted a quick teaser for Assassin's Creed: Odyssey. With only five seconds of video, the teaser serves as a quick callback to the movie 300 as a Spartan-looking warrior boots his enemy off of a cliff, before flashing the game's logo with a familiar helmet in the middle. Along with the leak, an insider told JeuxvideoLive that this game follows Assassin's Creed: Origins with a trip to ancient Greece, where there's plenty of heroic tales, battles and mythology to mine. Kotaku reports other sources claiming that it should arrive during Ubisoft's fiscal 2019 period, and that it will include even more RPG-style elements than the last game. We'll find out more during E3

In an interesting twist on the clichéd device tease, HTC has preempted an iFixit-style teardown by showing the back and guts of the phone it's about to release. It looks like the U12 (or U12+) smartphone will arrive on May 23rd, judging by the parts and shape. According to several leaks, it will sport dual rear 12- and 16-megapixel cameras, probably to allow for zooming with no detail loss, along with dual 8-megapixel front cameras.

While the headphone jack on smartphones isn't an endangered species just yet, it's clearly falling out of favor -- and that's bound to make you nervous if you don't want to live the dongle lifestyle. You won't have that problem with the OnePlus 5T, at least. OnePlus has not only confirmed that the 5T is coming, but is boasting that its upcoming handset will keep the 3.5mm port that so many hold dear. It cites both usage habits (almost 80 percent of OnePlus users rely on 3.5mm headphones) and its own analysis. It didn't see much benefit from asking people to plug in to the USB-C port, so why remove it?

Those rumors of a Razer smartphone for gamers just got much, much more tangible. Razer is teasing an event on November 1st with a preview image that shows a man holding a conspicuously phone-sized device. The company isn't wasting much time taking advantage of its Nextbit acquisition, then. While Razer is unsurprisingly shy on details, it describes the event as its "biggest unveiling" -- whatever it shows in November is important enough that the company wants to build as much hype as possible.

Ever since Hulu announced Castle Rock, there's been a lingering question: just what would JJ Abrams' take on Stephen King's universe look like? You now have a better idea. Hulu has posted the first trailer for the series, and it makes more than a few references to King's many stories. Shawshank State Prison gets more than one nod, to start. Even the casting pays tribute. It star Bill Skarsgård shows up at one point, while Carrie's Sissy Spacek is returning to King's landscape -- albeit as a different character.

Black Mirror is coming back to depress us all, and Netflix has revealed the cast and directors for season four's episodes. If you thought the last season was perhaps a little too happy-go-lucky, the teaser below might reassure you that showrunner Charlie Brooker hasn't lost sight of what made the Twilight Zone-meets-modern-technology anthology series so compelling. Per Deadline, Jodie Foster is behind the camera for "Arkangel," which looks to focus on a family's new tablet.

It's only been two days since OnePlus announced the June 20th launch date for its upcoming OnePlus 5 flagship phone, but it didn't take long before a couple of image leaks popped up, courtesy of Android Police and Slashleaks. With that dual camera, LED flash, antenna bands and shade of gray, commenters were quick to point out the unfortunate resemblance between this device and the iPhone 7 Plus, which is presumably why OnePlus decided to post the above image to make a point. Indeed, from this angle, the OnePlus 5 appears to feature a more unique outline running from the side to the top, but the rest is still practically identical to the iPhone 7 Plus.

It'll take a few more years before Tesla officially launches the Model Y, but we now kinda, sorta know what it could look like. The automaker has given us a first look at the upcoming mass market crossover EV during its annual shareholder meeting. It's pretty dark and doesn't really show a lot of details, but you'll probably notice the glaring lack of mirrors in the design. We don't know if Tesla truly believes it won't need mirrors when it becomes available by 2019 and beyond or if the design still isn't complete. All we know at this point is that it won't be based on the Model 3 platform, because Tesla chief Elon Musk wants to reduce the wiring needed by the company's vehicles.

Up until today, all of the Far Cry games have been set in far off locations. A tropical island, Africa, another tropical island, the Himalayas and prehistoric times have all played witness to the franchise's often morally ambiguous open-world first-person shooter. But now, the franchise is heading stateside. Series overlord Ubisoft has started teasing the next game in the franchise with a live-action trailer, as one does, and while there isn't a lick of CGI or gameplay, the 41-second clip does do a great job setting the game's tone.

Sounds like HTC's busy preparing for a big event in its home country: the electronics maker has just sent out a Save the Date for May 16th. Invites like this are typically shrouded in mystery, and HTC's is no different. All the invitation says is "Squeeze for the Brilliant U," though the blurry phone in the background and the company's tweet gives us some idea of what it could announce. In the video, you can see a hand squeezing the edges of a phone, hinting that you'll be able to interact with the device by giving its frame a squeeze.

LG will launch the V20 smartphone in September, and it will be the first to get Android 7.0 Nougat. It's the successor to LG's wacky V10 phone, and will have the same dual-screen, dual-selfie camera features (no other specs were revealed). The news means that the V20 will likely be released before any Nexus phones, which are usually the first with the latest Android operating systems. That would be an unusual move by Google, but LG has confirmed the news with Engadget.
