Verizon's high-speed EV-DO network coming to Tampa, Boston, Chicago, and Houston next?
We'd already heard some talk about how Verizon is testing their high-speed EV-DO wireless network (which can deliver DSL-level download speeds to a cellphone or wireless laptop card) in the New York area, now the latest word is that they're testing it in Tampa now, too, and will be taking the service to Boston, Chicago, and Houston next. Their EV-DO service is already available in San Diego, Washington, D.C., and Las Vegas but so far Verizon has kept quiet about which cities they'll be properly rolling out in next.
