Windows Media Center 2005 goes high-definition
We'd be more surprised if they didn't toss it in there, but Microsoft has more or less confirmed that the next version of the Media Center operating system, Windows Media Center 2005, will support playback and recording of high-definition television signals. Release is scheduled for some time in the middle to end of next month, but the big question on every Media Center PC owner's mind is whether or not they'll be able to score a free upgrade or not.
