Onkyo's MHP-UW1 2.4GHz USB headphones
We're all for the idea of wireless headphones and everything—especially ones from Onkyo, who makes some very notable audio gear—and yeah, we can understand why you'd be hesitant to get a pair of cans that have a huge base station and all that, which is probably why Onkyo used a small 2.4GHz USB transmitter for their MHP-UW1 phones. But that means you can only uses these ¥10,000 (about $95) headphones with a PC, which seems a little cloistering if you ask us; if they'd just figure out a way we could use these with a USB compatible MP3 player…
