Samsung's 57-inch LCD
Samsung is bringing the world the largest production LCD with this 57-inch beast. Sure, Sharp plans to make a 65-inch LCD, but so far, they have been all talk. This nice and shiny Sammy is available currently in the Korean market but there are plans to bring it state-side soon. They are also introducing the 40-inch set that we previously reported had won the European Imaging and Sound Association award. Both TVs feature two HDMI ports plus have a 5000:1 contrast ratio.
On a side note, I don't know if anyone else has been noticing this or not, but many TV sets are getting away from the silver and chrome and going back to a glossy black.
