SF Alpha 3 D-pad pre-order bonus comin' to America
According to GameSpot, the Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX D-pad cover pre-order bonus will be making its way to America as well -- that is, only if you pre-order the PSP port from Capcom's official web site. (Highlight the dark areas of the product page to see the text if it appears black in your browser.)
As you might recall, Capcom offered the cover to gamers who pre-ordered the game in Japan to make pulling off the direction-happy moves endemic to Street Fighter a bit easier on Sony's portable PS. According to the site: "This pad was specially imported from Japan and will work on most console and hand held systems on the market." It might not be as necessary on Xbox-controller D-pads, but it could come in handy on a DualShock.
The game should be out in about a week, so decide whether you want to order the full-priced $39.95 new release soon as supplies (and time) are limited. Just be aware that the permanent adhesive used to make the cover stick might not be so good at keeping your system's warranty in place. (Holy voided warranty, Batman!)
