Pioneer's Blu-ray player officially delayed
Nothing real surprising here. There has been a lot of rumbling on the 'ol net about Pioneer delaying their Blu-ray player. Well, it seems it was true and Pioneer is in fact going to delay the release of their Blu-ray box. It was originally going to launch this month, but now it isn't going to hit the shelves till sometime this fall. This is a shame too as Pioneer was a great alternative to purchasing the Samsung player. It just gave the consumer more options and with the issues with the Toshiba player (most which have been resolved by the firmware) many people would like another option for HD DVD.
