The PS3 loves Talladega Nights
We all know that it is highly likely that the PS3 will come bundled with some Blu-Ray movie love. Afterall, what better way to get all 6 people that own 1080p TVs hooked on the superiority of Sony's latest format? When word broke at TGS that the Xbox 360 HD-DVD player would come bundled with King Kong, the guessing game for the PS3's pack-in reached its peek.
High-Def Digest is betting that their informant has the scoop: "A Sony rep revealed that 'Talladega Nights' will ship for free with every PS3 sold at launch. The Will Ferrell hit would seem an appropriate fit for the PS3 crowd, and it's likely to make good demo material as well: earlier today came news that 'Talladega Nights' will be one of Sony's first 3 announced BD-50 titles."
HD-Digest rightfully points out the "take-it-with-a-grain-of-salt" status of this rumor as the scheduled "street-date" for Talladega Nights is a full four weeks after the console's launch.
