Konami expects Metal Gear Solid 4 by March '08

If Metal Gear Solid 4 remains a PlayStation 3 exclusive -- as Konami insists it will -- Sony can expect to sell plenty more systems by March 31, 2008. What's the significance of that date, you ask? It's the end of Konami's fiscal year, in which they expect "new titles will also continue to be released for game consoles in widespread use, along with the long awaited Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots for PS3."

Whether or not the highly anticipated neck-breaking sim will see a release before the end of the calendar year, hitting the lucrative holiday shopping season, is anyone's guess but at the rate Old Man Snake is aging, we hope it will.
