We won't see Riddick until 2008

For all of you who were looking forward to some Riddick action before the end of the year, we're sorry. With all the hard-hitting titles coming out by the end of this year, we're not all too surprised to see this game move itself into next year. Sure, this gives it more time to become as fantastic as the original Xbox counterpart, but it's also good to know when you're fighting in a crowded arena.

Starbreeze's Assault on Dark Athena is mostly remake of the original, Escape from Butcher Bay, with some added chapters for expanded excellence. This point is another supposed reason for the delay -- people moaned the game was simply a remake and demanded more original content. Starbreeze might be doing just that. Either way, we'll find out in 2008!
