Palm's MyPalm beta euthanized, joins Foleo in hell

After a rather protracted beta period that ran well over a year, Palm has opted to kill its MyPalm portal rather than seeing it through to a final release. Though Palm doesn't really give a hard and fast reason for the move (seriously, read their FAQ -- the answer to "Why is the MyPalm Beta ending?" actually made us dumber), it's safe to say that most Treo users weren't getting their essential support and accessory information from the service. It looks like Palm has a plan in place to transition most of MyPalm's features out to other areas of their site, so we wouldn't sweat it too much.
