The Sims 3 marketing is impossible to miss


If there is a green diamond overhead, chances are your eyeballs have just been made victim of Electronic Arts' latest media blitz. EA's marketing team has apparently been working overtime, papering city skylines with posters, banners and billboards hyping The Sims 3, which is expected to devour gamer free time with vampiric tenacity in June.

Clearly delicacy is a lost art, though with profits in freefall, subtlety may be a luxury the mega-publisher simply can't afford.
