Star Trek Online releases Destiny class starship video

Back in January, Star Trek Online announced the winners of their ship naming contest. The winning ship classes included the Destiny class, which are Tier 5 science vessels.

Cryptic recently released a handy video showing off the Destiny class going through its paces, and ZAM.com was lucky enough to get some stats on the ship as well as the video. You can take a look here for all the details, but the short version is this: it's a huge ship with the capability for long term solo missions or shorter term fleet support. It supports a crew of 500.
