WRUP: Distracted by kittens edition
The weekend, if we do say so ourselves (and we do) is not only the perfect time for gaming -- as we discuss every week in WRUP -- but also for hanging out with our household pets. Friends and family may nag us over our MMO habit, but our pets will always love us (so long as we remember to feed them). So this week in addition to talking up what we're playing this weekend, we're also sharing our favorite pets. We'll kick-start this adventure with Tateru, who gives us "two animals for the price of one, occupying the backrest of the comfiest chair in the house."

Edward Marshall: I'm not playing anything this weekend. I'll be saltwater fishing off Florida's Atlantic coast. Wish me luck.
Eliot Lefebvre: There's a new patch to be tested on the CoH front, and plenty of work to be done on my path to Admiral in STO. Offline, I'm looking forward to FFXIII and a match or two of Summoner Wars.
Jef Reahard: Rogue (right) says to be sure and tell everyone to look outside and enjoy the spring weather rather than wile away the weekend playing Age of Conan and Aion like Jef is doing.
Justin Olivetti (@sypster): I'm going to bust out my Atari 2600 and get back in touch with a true MMO -- Warlords! 4-player PvP action, baby!
Krystalle Voecks (@Krystalle): LEGO Universe beta, LEGO Universe beta, and maybe some more LEGO Universe beta in there too. I can't say anything else about it or Rockjaw will send stealthy ninja monkeys after me.
Patrick Mackey: My CO testers now have a gigantic list of potential exploits to mess with. Out of about 30 or so things on the list, I think we've checked off five, two of which weren't even on the list to begin with.
Rubi Bayer (@Rubi_): I'll be playing Battle of the Immortals. This turned out to be a really great game, I'm loving it! I'm also hoping to check out A Tale in the Desert, as well as spend some time in Middle-earth. I've made Justin promise to nag me about that so I'll stop neglecting my poor Minstrel. My favorite pet (right) is my only pet. Miss Kitty Fantastico was an early Christmas gift from my husband.
Seraphina Brennan (@sera_brennan): Might be going back to Lord of the Rings Online this weekend, to give the game a whirl with my crazy roommates. Otherwise, it's another weekend of Dungeons and Dragons, and the continuation of the World of Warcraft pen and paper roleplaying campaign. A busy weekend of roleplaying, as per the usual. :D
Tateru Nino (@taterunino): Dwarf Fortress, Champions Online, and Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. Plus a slew of meetings and work on some creative projects.
