Alganon steals press release from BioWare
The comedy train that is Alganon just keeps on rolling. Ethic over at Kill Ten Rats alerts us to a press release for the newly relaunched fantasy MMORPG that copies, nearly word for word, the wording used by Bioware to promote Star Wars: The Old Republic almost two years ago.

Curse.com sued by Games Workshop over Warhammer Alliance
Members of Warhammer Online fansite WarhammerAlliance.com found a startling announcement posted on the site today: "We wanted to inform our community here on WarhammerAlliance.com that Games Workshop has filed lawsuit against Curse for operating and maintaining WarhammerAlliance.com." A look at the official complaint revealed a litany of allegations including cybersquatting, unfair competition, dilution (of the IP) and more.

Cryptic to announce new MMO later this summer
With Star Trek Online and Champions Online chewing the scenery and igniting passions on both sides of the aisle, it's sometimes easy to forget that Cryptic Studios has a third project brewing in secrecy. Long rumored to be a D&D MMO -- perhaps even Neverwinter Nights -- the Cryptic folks have been, well, cryptic about the title. It looks like we may find out in a few months, however. In a recent interview with Bill Roper, Cryptic's chief creative officer cracked a small window into this upcoming announcement.
