The Queue: The dead rising from the grave! Human sacrifice!

Welcome back to The Queue, WoW Insider's daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Mike Sacco will be your host today.

Dogs and cat-bat-scorpions living together! Mass hysteria!

Bobury asked:

When Deathwing comes, where does he come from and which places does he hit first?

Deathwing emerges from Deepholm, breaking the "ceiling" of the elemental plane of earth and coming out in the center of the dimensionally weak Maelstrom. We know he visits several places afterward, including Mount Hyjal, Badlands, Stormwind and Orgrimmar.

Flint asked:

Has there been any word on if archaeology is something you can start from scratch in the new 80+ areas, or do you have to go grind "archeology nodes" for hundreds of skillpoints in the 1-80 content before you can start excavating in the new zones?

Archaeology looks at your character level and your skill level when determining where you can dig. What this means is that you won't have to go to high-level zones to dig when you're low level, but you will need to visit lowbie zones if you're level 80+. It's worth noting that even when your skill level is high enough to get stuff from nerubian, vrykul and tol'vir dig sites, you'll still get dig sites popping up in old-world zones for other races. That's just how the profession works.

Suh8lim3 asked:

Any word yet on what the troll and worgen druid travel and flight forms will look like?

At this point? Probably the same as the travel and flight forms for other druids in their respective factions.

Greg asked:

Apologies if this has already been answered, I don't think it has. Any word on what the login screen for Cataclysm will be?

Yes! Dataminers have actually uncovered files relating to the login screen. Commenters were able to provide a link to the work-in-progress, which is here.
