Gearbox's Randy Pitchford just took the stage at Ubisoft's E3 press conference to announce a new title called Brothers in Arms: Furious 4
. Pitchford promised both "a new take on wargames and a new take on World War 2" with the title, and then showed a short trailer with four different player characters, each presumably with their own abilities and characteristics, all making up a "special squad of soldiers."
Unlike the more historical bent of the previous Brothers in Arms
titles, this one is a less reverent take, featuring a more stylistic look and at least one Nazi exclaiming "Schisse!
" Brothers in Arms: Furious 4
is set for a release sometime next year.
