Official Android updates
- Samsung Captivate: AT&T's version of the Galaxy S finally has Gingerbread! Sadly, the upgrade can only be performed using Samsung Kies Mini software -- much like the Captivate's Froyo update. [MobileBurn, Samsung]
- Samsung Galaxy Nexus (GSM): If you missed your chance to update to 4.0.2, it's available once again. Go to settings and manually check for the refresh in order to get it. [AndroidCentral]
- HTC EVO 3D: Minor maintenance release known as build 2.17.651.5. It adds a security patch, improves battery life and updates the Peep client. The release will be pushed to phones beginning tomorrow, but is available now if you manually check for it. [UnwiredView]
- Notion Ink Adam: An official Alpha of Android 4.0.3 ICS is now available for download. As always, proceed with caution, and note that not every feature will work on the device yet. [NotionInk, BlogsDNA]
- HTC Rezound: An early 4.0.1 ICS ROM leaked on RootzWiki. [AndroidCentral]
- Samsung Epic 4G Touch: An official build of MIUI is now available to download and try out. [AndroidCentral]
- Dell Streak 7: A custom ROM for 4.0.3 ICS was created. [StreakSmart]
- Windows Phone: Build 8107 will roll out to all WP devices on O2 UK starting this week, and Deutsche Telekom by the end of the month. [WMPowerUser(1), (2)]
- Nokia Lumia 800: The second update will begin rolling out this week. The refresh will address power optimizations, charging issues and other performance-related fixes. Also, the default camera mode will be changed to normal mode (from macro). [WMPowerUser]
