SimCity DLC is a Nissan Leaf ad
SimCity might be best known for its massive logistical problems, but, well, alternate sources of revenue are not among those problems. That part is locked down. By visiting this Origin page and then restarting the always-online game, you'll get access to the "Nissan Leaf Charging Station," which lets your Sims charge little Nissan Leafs (Leaves?), making them and neighboring businesses happy.
The Leaf Charging Station creates no garbage or sewage, highlighting the "green" qualities of the electric car ... but it somehow also doesn't use any power. If you want to volunteer to be advertised to, you have six months; the item won't be available after that.
