Blizzard picks that venue because it's closest to their campus. They staff the convention with their own employees. If they had to fly every single one of those people to another location, tickets would cost a hell of a lot more than $175, and $175 is already fairly steep.
Who wants Jaina corrupted? This is the first I've heard of it. Personally I would love to get away from "revenge is bad, mkay?" I think it would be cool if helps the Alliance/Horde dispose Garrosh, then...nothing. No ramifications...she sought revenge and she got it, end of story.
It comes up fairly frequently on forums, on Twitter, etc. I agree with you that we need to get away from "revenge is bad." Revenge is a fun story hook. Revenge stories probably bring more satisfaction than most others in fiction -- it's nice to see someone who was wronged come out on top. Unfortunately, Pandaria is custom-made to make things like that really bizarre. I don't blame people for thinking Garrosh and/or Jaina are corrupted, or any other characters that choose to take the initiative.
Look at Townlong Steppes. A woman's husband is murdered. She sets out to get vengeance for her beloved. She is then corrupted by the Sha and Taran Zhu makes us kill her. That's pretty depressing. Of course, then Taran Zhu goes and gets corrupted himself and we don't kill him, we redeem him. Apparently getting killed over your grief is reserved for women and/or widows.
Anyway, what I'm saying here is Mists of Pandaria has built up an expectation of corruption, not to mention Warcraft's entire history as a franchise. Corruption is a Warcraft trope.
We have been paying $15 a month to play WoW for a very long time now, Do you think Blizzard will increase that price within the next 2-3 years? If not, how long do you think they can keep charging $15 month?
I don't expect subscription prices would ever go up. If they did, I'd consider it madness. MMOs are trending away from subscriptions, using value-added services to compensate. Buying cosmetic options for real money, for example. If Blizzard went the other way and increased the subscription price ... it would seem utterly self-defeating.
Why are the stones becoming BoA? Pets are account wide... You can upgrade any pet on any character and it works for all characters. I'm very confused.
So you can store them on a bank alt, for example. The stones can take up a ton of bag slots if you're waiting to use them on the right pets, so now that they're BoA, you can send them off to your bank alt to hold until you want to use them.
dear queue can vampires exist in the wow universe?
Sure. We kind of already got them in Wrath of the Lich King. The San'layn.
