Good news for Defiance players who still believe strongly in the power of transmedia synergy: Syfy has elected to pick up the TV show for a third season.
The series will return for a 13-episode season next year with Kevin Murphy as both executive producer and showrunner. Defiance averaged 2.7 million viewers during its Thursday night episodes in season two.
News of the TV show is of importance to the MMO, as both mediums feature connected storylines, settings, and technology.
