Tired of playing as goody two-shoes Bats in the Arkham game franchise? Now you've got your chance to frolic with the villains of the Batman universe with the Batman: Arkham Underworld mobile game.
Developed by Turbine, this is the second Batman: Arkham entry for mobile devices, though Turbine's first for the series. This time around, however, players will join the ranks of Harley Quinn, The Riddler, Killer Croc and other villains to create the "ultimate hideout." That probably means there's a lot of resource management, and in fact it does look like it has a lot in common with games like Fallout Shelter from its screenshots.
As far as the Arkham game timeline, this particular entry is said to take place before Batman: Arkham Asylum. So that would explain why suddenly Harley Quinn is rocking the same outfit from the 2009 console release in the promotional images.
The free-to-play title from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment is up on the App Store now for both iPhone and iPad players.
