The HDTV is as good as you can get. Don't get oversold into the "UHDTV" bs that hey are all pushing very hard. They need to make more money. There is a bit of noise when the cooling fan is on and it does run much warmer than an LED TV. But the picture doesn't get any better than this. Don't worry about sound. If you can afford this, get a sound bar. preferably a Sonos and you will be very pleased.
