A look at the Legend of the Condor Heroes Zero beta
Age of Wushu might have a bit of competition in Perfect World's newest Wuxia-themed MMO Legend of the Condor Heroes Zero. Despite the fact that the title sounds like a bunch of random words thrown together, Steparu took a close look at the game in its current beta state to let us know what to expect. In true Steparu style, we get a very detailed look at everything from character customization to gameplay to combat and more as shown in the videos embedded after the cut. Steparu ultimately thinks the game deserves another look in a more finished stage, but you can read more impressions over at the official review page.
Legend of the Condor Heroes: Zero now in testing, and here's a trailer
Today's winner of the longest-MMO-title award is Legend of the Condor Heroes: Zero. Whew. OK, now that I've had a breather, let me be the first to tell you that Perfect World China's action MMO entered its initial testing phase earlier today. Actually, I'm the second one to tell you, after MMO Culture, which also reports that the game has "very limited [testing] slots available." LotCH:Z is an open world fantasy title inspired by the wuxia fiction of Louis Cha, who is currently the world's best-selling Chinese-language author. Remember Legend of the Condor Heroes: Zero? It's undergone a bit of a name change since we reported on it two years ago, but it remains Perfect World's first attempt at an open world action MMORPG. It's also currently undergoing limited testing, according to MMO Culture. The site is spotlighting a trio of videos focusing on both classes and the environment. The game is of course heavily focused on martial arts, and it's also inspired by the wuxia novels of Louis Cha. Click past the cut to see some gameplay.
