Right now it's Korea-only, but it's Averatec's Lookie laptop stuffs some decent power into its tiny chassis. Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 250GB HDD, Windows 7, HDMI port, and six hours of battery life. We're a little bit light on the other details, but we're assuming they fall in line with other thin-and-lights. At a touted 0.5 centimeters, this sucker's thin -- beat that, Adamo XPS -- and pretty light at 1.4kg (just over 3lbs). The catch to all this -- and of course there's bound to be one -- is the 799,000KRW price, which translates to about $711 locally.

TG Sambo is all set to refresh its display line with four new models, three of them proudly pimping full 1080p panels and making your 4:3 display look all the more tired and washed up. The 24-inch TGL 2400A, 23-inch 2300A and 21.6-inch 2250A all have an integrated digital TV tuner, 2ms response time, 20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio (which probably means real contrast is around 500:1), HDMI, DVI, VGA, and menu presets for internet, movie and gaming use. There's also a similarly outfitted 2000A version, which alas loses the 1920 x 1080 resolution. Only the price for the biggest 'un is known at present: 449,000 KRW ($336), but the PR indicates "the second half of the market strategy is to attack," so we'll go ahead and assume availability is coming shortly.[Via AVING]

Laptops may be the form factor of choice for kid-friendly computers these days, but there's still some room out there for good 'ol desktops, and TG Sambo looks to have produced a pretty nifty one with its new LLUON Kidscom PC. While there's not much in the way of specific details, the system appears to based on the company's more adult-minded LLUON A1 all-in-one PC, with it adding a touchscreen to the mix, along with the company's own "TG Kids Browser" interface that promises to allow access to a range of educational materials. TG Sambo also looks to have a slightly different model that opts for an even more all-in-one design (pictured after the break), although details on that one are, of course, equally non-existent.[Via The Red Ferret Journal]

The LLUON B2 isn't TG Sambo's first LLUON all-in-one, but it's the first one we've seen that doesn't wear its iMac inspiration on its sleeve -- or rip off a variant of itself. This well-equipped AIO packs a 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 processor, 320GB hdd, and an NVIDIA GeForce 9300 graphics card with 256MB of video memory. This sleek 26-inch monster is designed to look like a TV and rocks a slot-loading DVD burner and an eSATA port, as well as the usual assortment of ports and integrated webcam. It's currently available in Korea for ??? 1,899,000 ($1,421) -- but look on the bright side, that's a whole lot of screen real estate.[Via SlashGear]

Korean manufacturer TG Sambo has seen a few of its products released 'round these parts, but it looks like that won't be the case with its latest PMP, at least as long as it packs some of that mythical T-DMB mobile TV we keep hearing about. If that doesn't preclude you, however, the unit certainly looks to be decent enough, with it boasting a 4.8-inch WVGA touchscreen, built-in WiFi for some supposedly full-fledged web browsing, 16MB of flash memory, and Windows CE 5.0 for an OS. No word on a price, unfortunately, but you can at least get a good look at its 15mm-thick form factor by hitting up the read link below.[Via Slash Gear]

  • Averatec's 15.4-inch 6700 "desktop replacement"

These days, a "desktop replacement" laptop often sports a 17-inch LCD, desktop processor or dual hard drives, but while the new Averatec 6700 bothers with none of those, it still manages some decent specs as far as AMD laptops go. Pulling processor duties is an AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-60 2GHz chip, accompanied by 2GB of RAM, a 120GB HDD, DVD super-multi burner, ATI Radeon Express 1100 graphics and the usual connectivity frills to be found in a mid-range 15-incher. The 1280 x 800 15.4-inch LCD could do with a few more pixels, but Averatec did squeeze in Vista Home Premium for the 1,399,000 won asking price, about $1504 US.[Via Aving]
