When we heard about Stop Stress: A Day of Fury, we were pretty interested. It's not that we have above-normal levels of stress or anything, it's all about the method Jack employs. After checking out the game's info video on the Nintendo Channel this week, we can safely say that Jack just has a short fuse. Hey, Jack, we deal with large, autonomous copy machines all the time and you don't see us going on a rampage. Seriously, stop being such a spaz! Head past the break for the full list of this week's content. %Gallery-77039%

  • Stop Stress by destroying everything in new WiiWare game

Stop Stress sounds like one of those My Coach non-games for DS: based on the title, we'd assume it would be full of relaxing exercises and tips about reducing the strain of daily life. But Abylight's Stop Stress: A Day of Fury on WiiWare encourages its players to take their stress out on the virtual world by beating everything nearby to pieces. Swinging the Wii Remote to control the arm of Jack, a stressed-out guy in a world that grows increasingly hostile as he gets more worked up, players use bats, axes, and other weapons to smash everything in sight. According to the ESRB description, "One mission is to 'search and destroy all the alarm-clocks' by using a soft slipper; another mission requires players to 'break all the windows and escape from the evil traffic jam.'" Publisher Abylight expects to release Stop Stress this fall. Try not to get too anxious for it! %Gallery-77039%

With all of the excitement of E3 dying down, it's time we got back into the groove of things, and Nintendo knows that best. This week, the DSi gets some Mario vs Donkey Kong love, and WiiWare gets a pair of new titles. The Virtual Console isn't left out in the cold, either, as strategy fans will likely be interested in what Ghengis Khan is up to. So, head past the break and check out what's available for download from Nintendo this week.

  • Elite Forces: Unit 77 screens are forcefully elite

There must be a whole bunch of bored commandos sitting around if there are at least 77 Elite Forces units. Are there that many threats to world security to require so many super-soldiers? Well, maybe -- but you'll be playing with only one group in Elite Forces: Unit 77.Ten new screens are in the gallery for forensic examination. It's an isometric shooter with wishy-washy 3D graphics and the standard terrorist/bomb/military storyline. It the game runs smoothly and controls reasonably well, then there might be some potential for this badass team of soldiers. If you can't wait until Q4 2008 for rough-and-tough shooting action on your DS, give the "okay, not great" Call of Duty 4 a try.%Gallery-20733%[Via press release]

  • If you can find them, maybe you can hire ... Unit 77

Publisher Gammick Entertainment has teamed up with another Barcelona-based studio, Abylight, this time for Elite Forces: Unit 77, an isometric shooter in which you lead the A-Team a four-man commando outfit to combat terrorists around the world. Reading Gammick's announcement for the title, it's all very serious business: The countdown has begun, and it's time for the few and the brave. Will you become a terrorist's victim or do you have what it takes to be on the team of Elite Forces?"Unit 77 will have you playing as four military specialists, each pulled from different disciplines -- hacker, sniper, demolition expert, and faceman heavy artillery. The 3D graphics for the characters and the rest of the game aren't going to impress anyone, and even the promotional image above with the crew's silhouettes needs a little work, but this could be a worth picking up if you're looking for more releases like the underappreciated Operation: Vietnam. Elite Forces: Unit 77 is scheduled to infiltrate stores in Q4 2008.%Gallery-20733%
