An Amazon France listing for Dragon Quest X on Wii U suggests the Square Enix MMORPG may be coming to the west. As spotted by NeoGAF, the listing includes official screenshots and denotes a price of €70 (around $90), but doesn't mention a release date. The Wii U game hits Japan on March 30. It gets its own Premium console bundle which includes a ¥1000 pre-paid card for the game, and five in-game orbs which double XP and gold collection for 30 minutes. Square Enix hasn't announced a release outside of Japan. When approached, a Square Enix rep said "We don't comment on rumor or speculation."This isn't the first leaky Amazon listing for a Square Enix game this week. Amazon US listed Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut as coming to the Wii U on May 7, which Square Enix also declined to comment on.

Normally when we report on retail listings outing a game, said retail listing is quickly pulled down to avoid embarrassment. In the case of Resistance: The Trilogy, well, apparently Amazon France isn't too concerned. A listing – one that's still live as of this writing – for just such a game popped up on Amazon France, spotted by UK site CVG.The listing puts a May 16 launch date and a €59.99 ($79.99) price tag on the unannounced bundle, which we're guessing means a May 15 launch here in North America (and a likely $59.99 pricing). You've probably already guessed as much, but the product listing confirms the trilogy as a repackaging of the three Resistance titles already available for the PlayStation 3. With such a revealing product page, we expect to hear something more official from Sony as the day goes on. We've reached out regardless in the meantime.

"But wait," you might be thinking. "The original Xbox launched on November 15, 2001. The tenth anniversary was last year, why come out with a 10-year anniversary bundle now? What's the deal? Oh my God, can you hear this? Quit listening to my thoughts! Get out of my head!!"Whoa, chill dude! The American launch was in 2001, but the console's European debut didn't happen until three months later in 2002, hence the 10-year anniversary bundle showing up on Amazon France in 2012. The €280.00 ($375.50) package comes with a 250-gb Xbox 360, two wireless controllers, a boxed copy of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, digital versions of Halo: Reach, Gears of War 2 and Fable 3, as well as a 3-month Xbox Live Gold membership card. The bundle is set to ship on March 9, and while we appreciate the sentiment and everything, we can't help but feel like a 360 reproduction of this might have been a more touching tribute. Make it happen, Microsoft. We'll give you money.

  • Report: 'Black Ops 2' listing spotted on Amazon France

In an entirely unsurprising turn of events, a listing for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2" reportedly popped up on Amazon France this week. GameBlog.fr spotted the listing and grabbed a screenshot (seen above) before it was allegedly pulled, which has resulted in a bit of a kerfuffle between Activision's French arm and the site.Earlier this year we reported that Activision had already snapped up domain registrations for a variety of Black Ops sequels (all the way up to "Black Ops 6", actually), so the listing on Amazon France doesn't exactly come off as unbelievable. Nor is it a surprise to suppose Activision might want to capitalize on Treyarch's most financially successful -- not to mention critically acclaimed -- Call of Duty titles.Activision's US reps have yet to get back to us when asked for comment.[Image credit: GameBlog.fr]

  • Amazon France: Marvel vs Capcom 3 coming to Vita

A listing has appeared on Amazon France for an unannounced PS Vita version of Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds. Why does it refer to vanilla MvC3 and not the newer Ultimate MvC3, which drops this November? The title could be placeholder, or there could be some big differences between this unconfirmed Vita port and the Ultimate iteration. We've reached out to Capcom to see what the deal is, so we're filing this one under "doubtful hrmmmm sound" in our extensive rumors database for now.

  • Rumor: Ubisoft releasing Splinter Cell, Prince of Persia trilogies on PS3

According to Amazon France listings spotted by The Sixth Axis, both Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia franchises could be getting the Blu-ray treatment in the coming months. Unfortunately, other than a 39.95 Euro ($54) price tag and a November 2 release date, neither listing provides any real detail on what the trilogies might contain. If Ubisoft is planning to re-release these games as compilations, it's possible that they might feature updated graphics, much like last year's God of War Collection. With a Sly Cooper collection on the way -- and rumors of a Team Ico Collection refusing to go away -- we'd hardly be surprised to see third-party publishers giving their own classics another spin.
