Today's submitter, Kelion of Bloodmoon Chosen on Argent Dawn (US-H), snapped this strangely-angled screenshot during a failed attempt to solo 25-man heroic Lich King. First off, aren't those chains on Bolvar Fordragon a little gratuitous? There's no possible purpose for the manacles being so spiky. It looks like a Hot Topic bracelet. And second, I have definitely been on too long of a hiatus from WoW, because I looked at Kelion's guild name and thought "Gee, that looks familiar! Wait a minute. That's my guild." It's probably time to log back in and get everything set up for Warlords of Draenor. Want to see your own screenshot here? Send it to aroundazeroth@wowinsider.com. "My favorite bug in the Warlords of Draenor beta, hands down, was the incessant bombing from the dwarven bunker of my garrison," writes submitter Wolf. "For a few glorious hours bombs rained down, with small explosions sending NPCs flying through the air. Or at least that is what the developers told us was happening. I noticed a suspiciously large number of flying NPCs near the food wagon. I think it may have actually been a gastronomical experiment gone wrong ... bad Chipotle is very bad." "I admit, I'm still undecided on whether I like the new models or not ... especially after this," writes 'fish stuff up' quest for the Darkmoon Faire, and while I was admiring my new glowy wings, I noticed that my character had the oddest expression on her face. I mean, she's just fishing with a twig pole. So why the self-satisfied, Spock-eyebrow-raised smirk? Are our toons now thinking that they're putting one over on the hapless fish of Azeroth? Are they about to espouse on the illogic of fishing? Or is there something going on with those wings or that fishing pole that we don't know about yet?" Want to see your own screenshot here? Submitter Shikí of Sojourner on Kargath (US-A) was on hand to document the final destruction of the Warlords of Draenor beta servers earlier this week. While she was on the server that was crashing constantly, she managed to snap a few good pictures. "Stormwind was very full of people on their shiniest mounts," she writes. "About thirty minutes before the snails arrived, the sky got strange and it started to rain. I thought it was a really pretty effect with the spiral of flying mounts amidst the stormy sky." "After the oppressive rule of Garrosh, Vol'jin is the proverbial breath of fresh air," writes submitter Heilandcoo of Deathtacular on Llane (US-H) "But ruling can be a thankless job. Vol'jin seemed so lonely, standing in the keep. Deathtacular decided we needed to welcome him. And what could be a better welcoming gift than bacon? A bunch of us brought Mr. Wiggles to the keep and hung around regaling Vol'jin of our guild exploits. 'And there was this one time when...' We're not sure if he was impressed by the stories or the expectation of bacon for life." Want to see your own screenshot here? Send it to aroundazeroth@wowinsider.com. "Something dark lurks deep within the Nethergarde Mines as the Iron Horde attempts to take its resources to fuel their invasion force," writes submitter Enishizen of Darkwind on Wyrmrest Accord (US-A). "While running my druid through the invasion quests, I decided to sneak into the mines and see what Blizzard had implemented. The Iron Horde was indeed in full force inside, working away, patrolling. However, once I got deeper into the mine I found something shocking. Ghosts of the Nethergarde miners shambling about, hostile and labeled 'Murdered Miner'. It seems that death has not stopped their will for revenge, as there are several dead Iron Horde lying about nearby, and in one part the Iron Horde have set a line of defense to hold back the ghastly spectres. Even more gruesome is that in one part of the mine there is a pile of bones that I assume are from the murdered miners, with their tortured spirits rising from the pile." "All of my level 90s planted trees in hopes of restoring some of the ruin we're leaving behind. A grove ... of hope." And then the giant tentacle monster that keeps destroying all the crops in Halfhill ate everything. Want to see your own screenshot here? Send it to aroundazeroth@wowinsider.com. Since it's Halloween, I tried to come up with the scariest screenshot I could find. And then I stumbled across this gem from Mayliffe on Argent Dawn (EU-A), who combined Belbi's beer goggles with the Gnomish X-Ray Specs to create a world where everyone is a naked male gnome. AAAHHH! I'm terrified! But really, I hope you all have a spectacularly spooky night. As for me, I'll be working ... on Halloween ... on a Friday night ... when we're down three ambulances on the schedule. "People fled in terror, and after being bribed with ale and gold to go away and never come back, I was one happy dwarf. Yes, my ministering to Azeroth's Tiny Critters has finally paid off!!! While everyone was distracted by fighting the Iron Horde, submitter Planck of Planet Express Crew on Shu'Halo (US-A) decided the time was right for a unilateral invasion of Stormwind. Of course, it didn't hurt that the 6.0.2 patch had temporarily removed all NPCs from Eastern Kingdoms on his server. Planck bravely fought his way through nothing to make it to Varian Wrynn's throne, where he donned some shades and chilled with the gold lions until the NPCs presumably respawned and instantly slaughtered him. Submitter Diethelm of Tichondius had heard a rumor from his guildmates that Theramore was the place to be this Hallow's End. Possessed of a somewhat short memory for lore-related occurrences, Diethelm headed to Dustwallow Marsh to find only a ghost town ... that had still somehow been decorated in pumpkins, cauldrons, apple-bobbing tubs and a skeleton that is either decoration or a former inhabitant. Shouldn't they be rebuilding the city, rather than emphasizing holiday decor? Want to see your own screenshot here? Send it to aroundazeroth@wowinsider.com. Oh, and the male mage desperately needs volunteers for his lessons. Really desperately. Go on. Talk to him and find out how desperate. Don't say I didn't warn you." "File this under our guild motto, "Hold my drink and watch this," writes submitter Gimmlette. "Spectacular Death on Llane (US-A) ran Siege of Orgrimmar, first wing, to give a few boosted 90's the chance to get gear. After Norushen, one of the tanks, BigBearButt, suggested he run into the next room and use his battle horn. What could possibly go wrong with this idea? Or, as Peter Venkman says, 'I love this plan! I'm excited to be a part of it!' We only wiped out half of the raid the first time. A couple more blasts and we had 98% of the room. There were a couple that stubbornly resisted the call. Rounding them all up created a really cool pattern, almost like Picasso's blue period." Want to see your own screenshot here? Send it to aroundazeroth@wowinsider.com. Are giant, square '80s sunglasses the new Azerothian trend? I hope not. Some things don't ever need to be revived. We get more of these every expansion. Submitter Mementh of Earthen Ring (US-H) wanted to be the first one to welcome the Iron Horde to Azeroth, so she camped out at the Dark Portal Monday night, just waiting for the green mist to turn into red. Instead of greeting her in a civilized fashion, they chose to run her through with spears for being part of the traitorous, fake Horde. And she'd cooked them a nice dinner and everything! Much to her surprise, however, some poor sap was in a much worse state from the long wait for his mail to be delivered. The gnolls of Azeroth can't wait until Warlords of Draenor is released. Then, finally, maybe Valexion of United and Honored on Blade's Edge (US-A) will stop massacring them for fun. They tried to show Valexion the horrors of his actions by letting their corpses lie in the sun instead of dissolving into nothingness, but he just ignored them and group-looted their bodies.
