"I found myself with a fun opportunity to snap a picture while doing the Battlefield: Barrens weekly quest," writes submitter Wryst of Fights Like A Girl on Rexxar (US-A)."One of the goblin lumber robot things threw a sawblade which followed me for a good long distance. While fleeing for my feathers, I wanted to catch a good picture." Logically, one would think that moving up or down a few feet would eliminate the danger from a thrown sawblade, but the laws of physics have no standing in Azeroth. Submitter Serendippity of Complexity on Eonar (US-A) was just chilling out and questing in cat form when she was suddenly accosted by a couple of pandaren guards. "I'm sorry, but there are no animals allowed in this area," they said. "This human priestess is deathly allergic to cats, and we just can't risk another personal injury lawsuit after the incident with the gnome and the steamroller." Serendippity tried to argue for her right to use a quest hub in her preferred form, but quickly discovered that the guards had a point. And the point was on the end of a crossbow. And you thought those peanut-free zones in schools were strict! %Gallery-107338% Want to see your own screenshot here? Send it to aroundazeroth@wowinsider.com. "Spectacular Death (US-A) held their second annual Terrapin 500 on Saturday, August 24th," writes guild leader Gimmlette. "This race involves the Sea Turtle mount only, not the Dragon Turtles you can buy. The race consists of two parts. The first one is in Ironforge and the second one is in Dalaran. You must race five laps around each place. Winners are announced after every race and you get extra gold if you come in costume."

No, the title doesn't refer to the movie, just the song. What do you mean you've never heard the song? Go listen to it and I'll see you in three minutes. Actually, add "Alex Chilton" and make it six. Back now? Okay. Submitter Puthump of The Taken on Wyrmrest Accord (US-H) has been waiting patiently for almost a year, and in eight days, he'll finally have the opportunity to kill Garrosh Hellscream with his own axe. Opportunity is the key word, there, since I suspect it'll take most people a bit longer to actually down the much-hated Warchief. %Gallery-107338% Want to see your own screenshot here? Ah, you fragile human meatbags! Your fleshy bodies are so easily punctured, bludgeoned, and squished to death. Meanwhile, we skeletons are nigh-immune to damage, at least if we're not facing an opponent with a bone saw. Or a wind elemental. I had to spend two weeks hunting for all of my ribs after we fought Al'Akir. My lawsuit is still pending. "I'm finally making my way through the legendary quest chain in Firelands for Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest," writes submitter Bonesmoke of The Gods of War on Steamwheedle Cartel (US-H). "I just finished the Delegation quest and killed Volcanus, after which I received the 'Blessed Defender of Nordrassil' buff to grant me 2 hours of constantly generating flowers from my feet. I mounted up and then realized they were coming out of my mount as well. I started flying through them for some pretty crazy visuals." %Gallery-107338% Want to see your own screenshot here? Look, officer, I don't know what to tell you. Booty Bay was there when I logged off. I was away for five minutes letting the dog out. When I signed back in, it was all gone, and I was swimming in the ocean where my former office used to be. No, I won't let you look in my backpack or swab me for explosive residue. As a gnome and an alchemist, I'm feeling like you're targeting me a bit. Have you talked to any of those goblin engineers that used to hang around the docks? Those filthy greenskins will blow up anything. "I was farming dinos for bones at the Isle of Giants with a guildie of mine this morning when I found - surprisingly without the use of experimental surgery - that we'd made the Devilsaur Centipede," writes submitter Stirfry of The Great Experiment on Alexstrasza (US-H). "Despite the devilsaur's face-eating tendencies, I felt a bit of sympathy: nobody wants to be the second dino in the Devilsaur Centipede. Or the third. Or the end. Actually, I think all of them would have preferred to die alone." And with all that, it still only has two stumpy little arms? "So I was running AQ40 for old times' sake when I discovered a rather interesting graphical bug," writes submitter Fizzlespark of Draka (US-A). "When you run inside of C'thun's body after he has fallen, strange purple lines jettison to the center of the body, leading to each of the eyes on the outside. As a result, I present to you the true Maws of Madness!" For the low, low price of a hundred thousand gold, submitter Duane of Elder Dynasty on Perenolde (US-A) has gained access to the swanky Hellfire (Peninsula) Club. It features a special VIP Dark Portal, a tuxedoed demon butler, and ... wait, that's it? He still has to do all the stupid Outland quests? Even the one where you have to boil the fel orc blood while getting attacked by scarabs, respawns and the occasional stray fel reaver? Eh, still a better deal than the Jeweled Onyx Panther. %Gallery-107338% Want to see your own screenshot here? Send it to aroundazeroth@wowinsider.com. Remember how the other day I mentioned how tough it is to take a good action screenshot while falling? Today's anonymous submitter decided to take this to the extreme. With a well-timed use of Slow Fall, a bit of luck, and what I can only assume is many, many failed attempts, he managed to take a perfect picture of his mage, hundreds of feet in the air, streaking across the sun. Shortly afterwards, he was eaten by crocodiles. %Gallery-107338% Want to see your own screenshot here? Send it to aroundazeroth@wowinsider.com. So Wrathion claims he's the last of the black dragons, hmm? Except for all those black drake mounts hanging around in people's inventories, just waiting to be summoned. And the Dark Whelpling pets. And the Onyxian Whelpling pets. And Sabellian and his crew. And maybe all those black dragons in Dustwallow Marsh that Jaina Proudmoore mentioned before Theramore was destroyed. Wrathion says that to his best knowledge, he's the last black dragon that remains, so I guess he stopped looking after about ten minutes ... and never bothered to check Wowhead. Isn't life funny sometimes? Submitter Wauzledop of The Gnomeland Security on Doomhammer has no problem melting people's faces and then stealing their treasure. But when a common Stormwind rat got in the way of one of his Mind Blasts, he sobbed over its corpse for ten minutes. Thank God he never did the Deeprun Rat Roundup quest. He would have lost it when he saw those tiny little rat kabobs. And you needed them alive, Monty? What sort of sociopath are you? %Gallery-107338% Want to see your own screenshot here? "We had a guild screenshot contest and this was my submission," writes submitter Wayland of Friend or Foe on Madoran (US-A). "I've found that in-game screenshots mostly look like stuff just standing around, so I tried to capture a picture that seemed full of action. This was my best shot. SECOND PLACE!" Not bad for second place, Wayland! Today's submitter writes, "Deathtacular on Llane (US-H) has had it with the antics of Garrosh; killing people, defiling the land, inviting thugs to run security in Orgrimmar. They decided the only way to get the warchief's attention was to have a protest rally. In keeping with angry mobs throughout history, they wore blue overalls, lumberjack shirts and carried the preferred weapon of angry mobs everywhere, pitchforks. Some members even brought boards with nails. (We need to be able to buy torches to light. Our anger was somewhat diminished because we didn't have torches.)"

When the Undercity Humane Associtaion has a half-off sale, they're not referring to the prices. Submitter Kulu of Metric System on Wyrmrest Accord (US-H) recently went to the animal shelter to adopt a new battle pet. She was planning on picking up a cute sprite darter or a Siamese kitten, but when she saw this adorable Stitched Pup sitting in a kennel gnawing on a bone of indeterminate origin, she just had to take him home. With patch 5.4 on the horizon, it's just the right time for Garrosh Hellscream to publish his first book. And according to the press release, it's called ... Cooking for the Horde? Really? Who knew that our least favorite warchief is secretly a culinary genius? But when you read the list of recipes, it makes a little more sense. In addition to the gnome stir-fry, which submitter Ziplox of Anvilmar Brigade on Emerald Dream (US-A) so kindly modeled for us, adventurous chefs can make the classic Gryphon Marsala, a delicious draenei tail and elf ear gumbo, and the overly crispy Theramore Tortellini. "One in particular was the Dreadsteed of Xoroth questline. I remember being a fresh 60, looking forward to the quest. I chose alchemy as a profession just to bypass the middle man of shadow elixirs and arcanite bars, trying to find a group for Scholomance to get to the alchemy lab and trying to find a Dire Maul West run-through. Submitter Kushkitten of After Hours on Blackhand (US-H) is tired of everyone making fun of her shadow priest alt. Sure, her heirloom robes are a bit tattered, her hair is on the messy side, and the glowing ball on the end of her staff is constantly running out of batteries. But doesn't she deserve the same respect as some beautiful, epic-clad blood elf? She certainly thinks so. And that's why she's hired herself an enormous stone woman to crush those who mock her. It's expensive, but it's worth it to see the bloodstains on the floor where her tormentors used to stand. %Gallery-107338% Want to see your own screenshot here?
