Free-to-play firm Gamania is closing down its Divina and Lucent Heart MMOs as of January 13th, 2013. The publisher posted a brief explanation on its beanfun! forums, citing an inability to renew its contracts with developer PlayCoo. "This decision happened very quickly and we wish we could give you more time, but unfortunately we could not," a Gamania representative said. The firm will not offer reimbursements for item shop purchases but is "looking into some sort of compensation for any player who still has beanpoints left on their account." The kind folks at Beanfun have treated Massively to a second exclusive developer diary and a handful of brand-new screenshots for their upcoming game, Hero:108 Online. The newest diary is all about a rivalry between Mighty Ray and Mystique Sonia, two characters in the game. It takes the form of a mock interview with their squad leader, Mr. NoHands, and is a cute read that gives a bit of backstory on some of the characters you'll encounter in the game. Hero:108 Online is gaining a fair amount of attention among MMO players in spite of its youth-oriented presentation, thanks to its polish and quirky gameplay style. It's in open beta right now, so give it a try -- right after you look after the cut for the full "interview."
