The Best of Big Download: July 12-18
As fate would have it, the San Diego Comic-Con has become a hotbed of game announcements and events for reasons we don't fully grasp just yet. That said, we'll be keeping an eye out for announcements from the show next week -- beyond the already expected reveal of 38 Studios' first title and that Spore action-RPG we've been hearing about, that is. There's just one more week to go before we will be in LA covering E3 2010. Even though it's considered to be a console show by many in the industry there will still be a ton of PC exclusive games shown at E3 this year. However we still have several days to prepare. So after a three year absence, Microsoft has finally decided to publish a PC game (Fable III) to retail stores. At least we won't have to wait a year or three for the Fable III PC port to arrive. Is this the dawn of a new era for Microsoft and the PC game industry? We shall see.
