You can now buy Cristiano Ronaldo's signature audio gear. The football superstar, who isn't shy to put his tech-shill game on full display, recently teamed up with established manufacturer Monster to create a line of headphones. Known as Roc Live Life Loud, the newly minted set features three products: Roc Sport SuperSlim wireless in-ear ($170), Roc Sport Freedom on-ear wireless Bluetooth ($250) and Roc Sport Black Platinum over-ear ($300), all of which aim to compete against the Beats of the world. They're only available on eBay at the moment, but Monster says the Ronaldo headphones will be hitting its own online store in two weeks.

"We launched ROC Live Life Loud to give my fans around the world direct access to high design and the best sound quality on the market." Cristiano Ronaldo is more than a massive football star. He's also a model, a philanthropist and (because why not?) an entrepreneur. Ronaldo, who plays club soccer in Spain and for the Portugal national team, recently showed up in Japan to promote the SIXPAD, a muscle-stimulation device that promises to make your abs look like those on his body. While much was made of the weirdness of SIXPAD's promotional video, it's far from the first time Ronaldo's been the face behind a peculiar product. In fact, people in Japan love him for it, so much so that he now has his own 3D-printed, life-size figure, which was created to show off the SIXPAD and, as a bonus, a pair of boxer briefs from his CR7 underwear line. So how do we honor the Ronaldo tech-shilling madness with all that it entails? With a collection of some of his best and most bizarre tech moments, of course. De nada.

For the longest time, Population III stars, which formed in the very early years of the universe, were nothing but a theory. Now, some astronomers led by David Sobral from the University of Lisbon in Portugal believe they've found evidence of these ancient, massive celestial bodies within an extremely bright (and old) galaxy. The team used ESO's Very Large Telescope, along with the Hubble Telescope and Japan's Subaru Telescope in Hawaii, to peer into an old part of the universe. There, they discovered several distant but luminous galaxies, including Cosmos Redshift 7 or CR7, which formed merely 800 million years after the Big Bang.
